What Are CategoriesEdit

Categories are what we use on the wiki to label our articles accordingly.

Adding CategoriesEdit

It is relatively simple to add categories. You can add one at the bottom of the article page when editing by typing [[Category:<name of category>]], or adding to the category box on the right of the editing page. Either way, it will allows the said category to appear accordingly.

Why Do We Use CategoriesEdit

We use categories to inform readers vaguely of what the article is about, as well as to find similar articles under the same category. For example, if you were categorizing Yuki Kuran's article, you would add categories that would list things such as her gender, species, ect.

However, you must only add existing categories that are appropriate to the article.

Administrators or Policy & Standards Councilors will create the new categories.

Maximum Amount of Categories Per PageEdit

There are 10 categories maximum with every article. No more, no less.
